Grandfather Clocks

Well, I am going to talk to you people about Grandfather clocks today. Well, what do you mean by a grandfather clock? What does the word Grandfather mean? Well, to be very fair, it would be more apt if we start calling them as Grand clocks because that is what they are all about. They are just 'Grand' showpieces that are used at homes of many of the rich people. Rich not only by mind but also by thought to have such priceless properties at home. I've always wanted to buy a Grandfather clock and I hope to do it soon. It signifies royalty, even though we may not be, on a literal context. How about adding a beauty of a piece in your home, beautified by the rose wood finishes and the black finishes, who would really say 'no' to such beautiful stuff? One can also classify them under furniture, because a person who just wants to see the time can see it on an ordinary watch, but then one who has a grandfather clock at home wants to create that amazing piece of luxury around it. I recently saw a clock on 1-800-4 Clocks and i saw this exclusive piece of amazing beauty, the "Bulova Merlot Grandfather Clock"! It was literally stunning. This clock had a hardwood and veneer cabinet with bronze blushing and stainless steel pivots. I wish I had this clock in my study room, near my big bookshelf, conveying to me symbolically how time goes as we read. And the price was high but it was worth the piece, very much!
